Most off-licences stock the same dozen labels. We take a different approach. Our whisky collection features bottles from independent and small-batch distilleries across Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Sweden, India, Australia, France, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Japan, and the United States. Every bottle here was tasted and selected by our team before it made the shelf.

The name vomFASS means "from the barrel," and that barrel heritage runs through everything we sell. You will find single malts aged in port pipes from Pen y Fan in Wales, peated expressions from Mackmyra in Sweden, and small-batch Irish whiskeys with Sauternes and Bordeaux cask finishes from The Lone Hawthorn. These are bottles with stories and provenance, not mass-market fillers.

What Makes Our Selection Different

We carry whiskies you genuinely cannot find in most UK shops. A 6-year Indian blended whisky from Mumbai. A Belgian single grain aged five years. A German spelt whiskey from the Black Forest. A French blended whisky called Bouchon d'Or. None of these sit on Tesco shelves, and that is the point. If you already know what you like, you will find something new here. If you are still exploring, even better.

For Scotch drinkers, our Mac Spey Speyside Blended Malt (10 years) delivers the honey and orchard fruit notes you would expect from that region, at a price that does not sting. Japanese whisky fans should look at the Mimori Pure Malt, a clean and balanced dram.

Tasting, Pairing, and Gifting

Try whisky alongside dark chocolate, aged cheese, or dried fruit. Our chocolates and sweet treats pair particularly well with sherried and port-finished malts. For gifts, browse our sampler sets, which let the recipient taste across styles and countries without committing to a full bottle.
