Bouvet Ladubay Rose Brut
Originating from the Saumur AOP in France’s Loire Valley, Bouvet Ladubay Rosé Brut is crafted from a blend of approximately 70% Cabernet Franc and 30% Grolleau. Produced using the traditional méthode, it undergoes lees aging for 9 to over 18 months depending on the cuvée. This sparkling rosé displays a bright salmon pink hue with silver or golden highlights and features fine, persistent bubbles that create a creamy mousse. Aromas highlight fresh red fruits such as strawberry, raspberry, and cherry, complemented by delicate floral and subtle herbal notes. On the palate, it offers a soft, velvety texture with balanced acidity, showcasing juicy red berries, mild citrus, and gentle spice nuances. The finish is clean and refreshing, with lingering red fruit and citrus zest. Ideal served chilled, it pairs beautifully with seafood, soft cheeses, and light appetizers. This elegant yet approachable wine presents a sophisticated alternative to Champagne or English sparkling rosé.
