On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with a velvety texture, sleek tannins, and flavours of plum, cherry, orange rind, cedar, basil, and black tea. The finish is long and spicy, with mineral and balsamic nuances. Ideal with rich pasta, grilled meats, and game, it is best enjoyed within four years of the vintage at 18-20 °C.
