Bouvet Cremant de Loire Excellence
Bouvet Ladubay’s Crémant de Loire Excellence exemplifies the finesse of Loire Valley sparkling wines. Made predominantly from Chenin Blanc with select Chardonnay grapes, it is crafted using the traditional method and aged on lees for a minimum of 12 months. This results in a pale straw to light gold wine with fine, persistent bubbles. The aroma reveals white flowers, pear, apple, and subtle dried fruit, enhanced by delicate floral and toasty notes. On the palate, it offers a creamy texture balanced by vibrant acidity, featuring flavours of citrus zest, melon, and dried apricot. The medium-length finish is clean and refreshing, with lingering floral, toasted, and mineral nuances. Best served chilled at 6–8 °C, it pairs beautifully with light seafood, mild meats, and soft cheeses, presenting an elegant and approachable alternative to Champagne.
