Zeni’s Costalago Rosso Veronese, crafted in Bardolino, Verona, blends approximately 70% Corvina and Corvinone with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine displays a deep ruby-red colour with garnet highlights and offers floral and ripe red fruit aromas, including wild berries, black cherry, and violet, complemented by subtle spice and herb notes. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with a velvety texture, sleek tannins, and flavours of plum, cherry, orange rind, cedar, basil, and black tea. The finish is long and spicy, with mineral and balsamic nuances. Ideal with rich pasta, grilled meats, and game, it is best enjoyed within four years of the vintage at 18–20 °C.
