Vista Alegre Fine Tawny Port

Vista Alegre Fine Tawny Port is a tawny port made by Vallegre Vinhos do Porto in Portugal's Douro Valley and bottled at 19% vol. It is a sweet blend of Tinta Roriz (40%) with Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca (20% each), amber to tawny in colour with reddish tones. On the nose there are dried figs and prunes, toasted nuts, caramel, spice and a little vanilla and wood. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, with hazelnut, walnut, toffee and honey, and the finish is soft with dried fruit and spice. Serve it at 14 to 16 °C with nut desserts, crème brûlée, chocolate mousse or aged cheese, and see our port wine collection for the ruby and white.
