Vista Alegre Fine Ruby Port

Produced by Vallegre Vinhos do Porto SA in Portugal’s Douro Valley, Vista Alegre Fine Tawny Port is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, and Tinto Cão grapes. This wine matures for 3 to 4 years in large oak casks, developing a deep ruby-red hue and rich aromas of ripe black cherry, plum, and blackberry, complemented by subtle spice and dried fruit notes from oxidative aging. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with smooth, sweet tannins and concentrated red and black fruit flavors balanced by gentle oak influence. It finishes long and lush, making it an excellent match for cheese, cured meats, and chocolate desserts. Serve lightly chilled at 12–14 °C, best enjoyed within weeks of opening.
