Monsenhor, Vino Verde Rose
Monsenhor Vinho Verde Rosé originates from the Minho region in Northern Portugal and is bottled by Quinta da Lixa. This blend combines roughly 60% Touriga Nacional with 40% Espadeiro grapes. Characterized as an off-dry rosé with a subtle mousse, it presents a mid-pink color reminiscent of rosehip tea. The wine offers vibrant aromas of raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, and hints of blueberry, alongside delicate floral and mineral notes. On the palate, it delivers a juicy, balanced acidity with a light-bodied, slightly fizzy texture. The finish is clean and lively, with persistent berry flavors and a touch of citrus or herbal brightness. With about 10.5% alcohol and 15 g/L residual sugar, it pairs wonderfully with seafood, salads, grilled fish, and light poultry, making it an ideal choice for refreshing summer enjoyment.
