Monsenhor Vinho Verde Rosé is an off-dry rosé from the Minho region in northern Portugal, bottled by Quinta da Lixa. It is a blend of roughly 60% Touriga Nacional and 40% Espadeiro grapes, with about 10.5% alcohol and 15 g/L residual sugar. It has a subtle mousse and a mid-pink colour like rosehip tea. The nose shows raspberry, strawberry, blackberry and hints of blueberry, with delicate floral and mineral notes. On the palate it is juicy, light-bodied and slightly fizzy, with balanced acidity. The finish is clean and lively, with lasting berry flavours and a touch of citrus or herbal brightness. It pairs with seafood, salads, grilled fish and light poultry, and is a refreshing summer wine.
