Rosa dei Frati hails from the Riviera del Garda Bresciano DOC in Lombardy, with vineyards rooted in chalky, sandy-lime soils near Lake Garda. Crafted by Ca’ dei Frati, this rosé blends approximately 60% Groppello, 15% Marzemino, 15% Sangiovese, and 10% Barbera. It undergoes stainless-steel fermentation with brief maceration and six months aging on fine lees, resulting in a pale salmon hue with silver reflections. The bouquet reveals hawthorn, green apple, wild cherry, and white almond, complemented by herbal and stone fruit notes in expressive vintages. On the palate, it offers vibrant acidity, delicate red fruits, and a refined minerality, finishing clean and zesty. Ideal served at 8–10 °C, it pairs beautifully with lean cured meats, seafood, and light Mediterranean dishes.
