Bidoli Merlot DOC Friuli, crafted by Margherita and Arrigo Bidoli in the cool Friuli Grave DOC of northern Italy, showcases 100% Merlot fermented and aged in stainless steel to maintain pure fruit character. This medium-bodied wine displays a bright ruby-red hue with clear clarity. Its aromatic profile features blueberry, blackberry, plum, and fresh herbal notes like mint and lemon balm, complemented by subtle hints of wild raspberry and forest floor in some vintages. On the palate, it offers juicy red and black fruit flavors balanced by crisp acidity, velvety texture, and refined tannins, finishing clean and medium-length. With approximately 12.5% ABV and dry style, it pairs well with poultry, grilled red meats, pasta, and semi-mature cheeses.
